Born in 1979 in the former Yugoslav Belgrade, Jovan Todorović is a multidisciplinary filmmaker and artist based in Brooklyn, New York. After a MFA degree from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade (RS), Todorović launched his career in directing, cinematography and music. Since then, he has traveled the world creating commercials, fashion and music videos for major global brands, agencies and artists such as Diesel, Adidas, Nike, Samsung, Puma, H&M, Bacardi, and MTV. Gifted with a keen ability to grasp the extraordinary in the ordinary, Jovan expresses his storyteller talent by creating compelling, impactful stories. In his films, the audiovisual medium becomes a means of exploring the human experience and, with empathy, elevating it to a heightened visual, auditory and textural experiences, far more intense and meaningful. Often celebrated for their provocative nature and social impact, his films and branded content have garnered significant press and recognition across the world winning multiple FIPRESCI, Cannes Lions, Clio, Ciclope, Shots, Lux, and Golden Drum awards.
