Born in different decades, growing up in the most remote parts of Germany, Dorian & Daniel had the common passion to tell stories visually. At first, they took different directions. While one of the two studied film history, the other worked as a graphic designer in various advertising agencies. However, they soon became aware of their love for short and fast films. When both of them started their studies at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in the degree program advertising direction in 2012, finally, their paths intersected. Thus Dorian & Daniel began to work as a directing duo early on in their studies and tried to use their advantage of two minds and four eyes to tell new stories. Sometimes funny, sometimes sad, but always with big pictures. With the Johnny Walker Spec-Spot “Dear Brother” they caused an international sensation and won numerous creative awards. They have worked with Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Tiger Beer, Tipico and more brands.
